What I need from you to begin:

As many pictures as you can send via computer or regular mail of your pet. If you email, they should be a higher resolution around
1200KB is good. I work exclusively from your photos so make sure you get your pet's good side!
One picture with your pet in the exact position or close to the exact position you want them painted in.
Pictures of any toys or special items your pet loves that you'd like to see in the painting.
If you want a detailed background, pictures of a specific environment you'd like to see them painted in, for instance his/her favorite
spot to sleep or play. Or, if you don't have one, give me an idea and I'll work it out. Keep in mind that this can be as complicated,
simple, realistic or whimsical as you like. Let your imagination go and I'll make it work.
Any stories you'd like to share about them that give me an idea of their personalities, maybe the one about that time your dog ate an
entire Easter basket full of chocolate. This may seem irrelevant, but it's always very amusing to me and helps me get to know who I'm
painting!
Decide what size painting you'd like.
Decide whether you'd like your painting on heavy rag paper suitable for framing or canvas which does not need to be framed. I offer
this option because I personally love the way a framed painting looks, however, I realize not everyone wants to deal with the framing
aspect. If you'd like your painting on rag paper framed, the other option is to have me deal with the framing aspect as well for an
additional fee.
At this point, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit in order to begin the painting process and the remainder can be sent once you
approve the finished painting.

What I'll do:

Based on the information you've given me, I'll do a sketch and email it to you for approval.
I'll make any changes you ask for in the sketch, or go forward with the painting if you're happy with it. All paintings are done using
acrylic paint with a layer of protective varnish.
When the painting is finished (usually about 4-5 days from start day) I'll email you a high resolution picture of it to make sure you're
happy with the results. (no major changes can be made at this point, but smaller things can be adjusted)
I'll make the changes you ask for, or if you're happy with it, I'll send it off to you, insured, via FedEx. Please keep in mind that you
can be as involved or uninvolved in the process as you like. I understand that everyone is different. Some want to be completely
surprised at the finished piece and others want to be more involved in its progress. Therefore, when we start working together, make
sure I am aware of how involved you'd like to be.

Pricing:

The actual price is dependent on how complicated or simple of a background you'd like. I will quote you a price after we've figured
out exactly what you want. Below is a basic guideline that would be applicable to "Lucy" and "Icarus" in the gallery section for example.
A background more complicated than those, for instance, "Bella", would be more expensive. In turn, a plain background would be less
expensive incrementally depending on the size.

8"x10" $350 (+$25 for each additional pet)
9"x12" $400 (+$30 for each additional pet)
11"x14" $500 (+$40 for each additional pet)
12"x16" $600 (+$50 for each additional pet)
16"x20" $750 (+$75 for each additional pet)
18"x24" $1000 (+$100 for each additional pet)
20"x30" $1350 (+$150 for each additional pet)

Please keep in mind when placing your order that it may take up to 6 weeks to be completed. I work on paintings in the order that I
have recieved the requests. If there is a pressing need for the painting to be completed by a certain date, a birthday for instance,
that falls prior to the 6 week mark please let me know and I'll try my best to accomadate you.
